Mr. Hoppy and I, with the rest of our friends, would like to welcome you to our web site. Please feel free to hop around the site and remember all items are for sale, unless otherwise stated. They are unique handmade items made from polymer clay.
My name is Kathy Morris and I was laid off from my 15 year job in May 1999. HEY don't feel sorry for me cause all that means is I now have more time to play with my clay, among other things. I have always been the crafty type but didn't discover polymer clay until the summer of 99. I was watching the Carol Duval show on HGTV (is there any other) lol. Her guest, Maureen Carlson, was demonstrating how to make clay figures with this stuff called polymer clay. Well I was so fascinated I got in my car and went to the book store to buy her book. Then I immediately went to the craft store and bought the material I needed to start. If you look at my figurine page you will see Mischievous Mike. Well he was my very first project. Of course I have to start with something difficult instead of something simple. Well I learned a few things making him. Like how not to make the legs too weak or they will break off. (You get the picture?) Ok so super glue works pretty good. If anyone is interested in purchasing Mischievous Mike I will make a new one. But for now I have this one for display purposes. And of course, I really couldn't part with my little Mike, he's like one of the family now.
I have also purchased "The New Clay" by Nan Roche. Both books are fantastic. I recommend them both.
